Lodge partnered with Mexico City-based artist Lourdes Villagmez to create a collectible sugar skull skillet in honor of Day of the Dead, or Da de los Muertos. Lourdes is a contemporary artist known for her bright use of color, bold acrylic paintings, and beautifully decorated skulls. She has shown her work in New York, Italy, and across Mexico City and was highlighted as one of Mexicos most promising new artists in 2016

Pre-seasoned and ready to use Lodge Cast Iron skillets are manufactured under tightly controlled metal chemistry and exacting mold tolerances to deliver a consistent product for even heating and superior cooking performance.

Care Instructions:

• Foundry seasoned, ready to use upon purchase.
• Use on all cooking surfaces, grills, and campfires (including induction).
• Oven safe.
• Saut, sear, fry, bake, grill and stir fry to hearts content.
• To care for your Seasoned Cast Iron:
  • Hand wash and dry immediatelyeven before first use.
  • Rub with a light coat of vegetable oil after every wash
  • How much oil? Enough to restore the sheen, without being sticky. Why? To keep the iron seasoned and protected from moisture.
  • It’s okay to use a little soap when needed, just make sure you dry thoroughly and apply a little oil afterwards.
