• Santoku means ‘three virtues’ in Japanese referencing the multiple functions of this knife: chopping, mincing and dicing
• Best used for slicing meat and fish, mincing meat and herbs and chopping or dicing fruit and vegetables. Perfect for precision slicing fish for sashimi.
• The absence of a tip on the Santoku knife allows you to slice in a single downward cut quickly and efficiently.
• The Granton edge on the knife forms a small air pocket between the blade and the food when cutting. This helps reduce food sticking to the knife.
