These bio cups with indigenous printing are made out of paper sourced from managed plantations and coated with Ingeo – a bioplastic made from plants not oil. Buying these cups will directly support CorporateConnect.AB’s pro-bono work assisting with youth engagement and employment in rural and urban Indigenous communities that fall outside funded programs. The first artist in this series is Keith Brown, born in 1948 in Guyra, NSW. His father is from the Ngarabal language group and mother from Biripai language group. His work is inspired by the colours, contours and textures of the land in the north-west and western parts of NSW where he spent his youth.
Single or double wall cups?
Manufacturing a single wall cup consumes less energy and paper. Transport related emissions will also be less due to the lower weight of the single wall cups. Single wall cups are suitable for serving milk-based beverage up to 80 degrees. If sales of tea or black coffee make up only a small percentage of sales, we recommend double cupping when necessary. It’ll be more economical, take up less space and better for the environment!
These cups can be commercially composted and recycled.
