Victorinox Swibo Boning Knife (Curved Flexible Blade) – 16cm

The Victorinox Swibo range of knives are used by professional chefs, butchers and fisherman around the world giving testament to the quality, functionality and longevity of the collection. Made in Switzerland, the steel blend produces a high-quality tempered, stamped blade that is resistant to wear and corrosion with a 55 to 58 Rockwell hardness.

The signature bright yellow, synthetic handles are made with non-porous Swiss polyamide which is injection moulded and sealed onto a polished, high-grade stainless steel blade. This eliminates gapping between the blade and handle assuring the handle is hygienically and permanently sealed to the blade.

In 1884, Karl Elsener opened his cutlers workshop in Ibach Schwyz and in 1891 he supplied the soldiers knives to the Swiss Army for the very first time. He went on to develop the Swiss Officers and Sports Knife now the iconic Swiss Army Knife in 1897, creating the foundation for a flourishing company that would be able to hold its own on the world stage and still does to this day.
